7 Months!!!

Yep...it's true. The date stamp on this pictures don't lie.
I'm 7 months old already!!!

Mommy can't believe that 7 months have already flown by so quickly...sniff, sniff.

Giggles by the Pool

I'm a pretty giggly kid. If I'm not eatin' then chances are I'm laughin'!
We went for a swim at Nana and Papa's and after my dip in the pool I thought I'd have a chat with Nana and, of course, GIGGLE!

OMG...Nana...you're killin' me!!!

Good Luck Team Canada

At the end of June, Special Olympics Team Canada held a send off party to wish our team heading to the World Summer Games in Athens, Greece good luck.

One of the athletes gave me their flag.

I had a great time waving it around!

Let's go CANADA!!!!!!!!!

High Times...but not at Ridgemont High!

As I've been eating solid foods since I was four months old, Mommy thought it was for me to graduate from the Bumbo/feeding tray combo to the real deal -- the high chair.

For some reason, it was the ONLY thing she kept from when Skylar was little.

Wow...check out how big this tray is! Looks like it can hold A LOT of food.

And for those of you who have seen my chubby thighs, you know I llooovvvee to eat!

Okay...my bib is on. Bring on the eats!!

Hey...does this count? It is a carrot...sort of!

Hmm...I'm not sure about this mesh thingy.

I'll humour you, Momma, and hold on to it myself. But I think, in future, I'd much rather have some little pieces of banana.

Family Fun Day

Before the summer rush, Daddy thought it would be fun to visit Canada's Wonderland. So both Daddy and Skylar took a day off of work and school and we headed out bright and early.

Mommy took this opportunity to take some pictures with the new Nikon camera Daddy bought her. Seriously...she took over 250 pictures!!

As I'm too little for any rides, this was pretty much what I did all day (plus eat, sleep and poop of course!!).

Well...I did also have some cuddles throughout the day with Daddy.

Skylar and I were both fast asleep in the car before we even left the parking lot!
We had a great family fun day. For more pics of our adventures you can check out my sister's blog www.sketherington.blogspot.com

6 months and already a seasoned sailor

While Daddy took Skylar to the Lion King, Mommy and I thought we'd take advantage of the nice weather and finally take a visit to Aunt Aly and Uncle Tom's sailboat.
The boat is on Toronto Island and there was a 2 hour wait just to get on the ferry. Mommy doesn't do line-ups so we met up with some of her friends and hired a water taxi.
I wasn't as scared as I look in this pic!

But Mommy sure was frightened when the taxi driver asked her to park my stroller at the front of the boat. She kept picturing it going overboard!

Once we got to where the boat was docked, I hung out with Aunt Aly while Mommy enjoyed some Lemon Tea Beer and some sunshine.
(and for the record both Mommy and Aly were wearing blue and white striped dresses ha ha)

Since we had planned to hang out at the waterfront, Daddy got us a suite at the Westin that night and we hit the pool.

We had such a fun time on the boat that we brought Skylar and Daddy back with us the next day - especially to say Happy Birthday to Uncle Tom.

I loved the boat so much that Mommy decided to take my 6 month photos on it.

This one is Mommy's favourite!

Thank you so much Aunt Aly and Uncle Tom. We loved the boat and had a lovely dinner at the Marina with you. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
Hope you enjoyed a very Happy Birthday Uncle Tom!

Playing around in my big girl bed

Now that I can roll over on my tummy, I thought I'd try my new tricks in the safety of my cushy 'big girl' crib.
(Mommy is secretly hoping I will love it and stop sleeping in my cradle in her room)

Ohhh...it is quite comfy in here. Okay...let me get some momentum for the big flip.

Here we go...

Taa Daa!!

Come here bear...

And you too duckie bath sponge!

Nothing is safe now that I can move around so well!!
